2012…a new year has begun. I’ve decided to change things up a bit on buckbuckgoose to make it a little easier for me to update. Instead of doing Book Blurbs on Mondays, I will add those whenever I feel inclined. Being locked in to a specific day was stressing me out entirely too much and I didn’t want writing about books to become a chore since I love recommending literature. Also, the Looking Local category will no longer include weekly Weekend What To Do’s. It took a large amount of time to post those. However, I will put up an event or two if something comes along that seems very interesting or is particularly “green.”

You may also notice some other differences as I venture into the new year as a blogger. It’s important for me to be able to have my own little voice on here, but it also has to work within the confines of my every day life. As my two little ones develop and grow, so too, does my life and my role as a mother. With each passing month and every achieved milestone, what I’ve come to know as my daily routine begins to change. I realize that in order to survive and thrive, I need to embrace change and simply allow life to unfold. Nothing ever really stays the same so we adjust, adapt, and adopt. I guess this blog is a way for me to document that process and serves to remind me that I can do this. I can live this life and I can live it spectacularly and share it with you along the way.
